Who We Are

The unique calling of YWAM Nashville is to be both flexible and strategic through mobilization, discipleship, and ministry.

For over a decade we at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Nashville have ministered from our serene countryside campus in Adams, Tennessee about 50 minutes from the heart of Nashville. From there we've commissioned short-term teams into Nashville and the nations; planted new YWAM training centers in Louisville, Kentucky and Cancun, Mexico; sent full-time missionaries to share the gospel with unreached people groups; and trained hundreds of youth. We've also had the privilege to help many youth groups to get their first taste of missions through our Mission Adventures program. Our staff includes singles and families, parents and grandparents all of which willingly raise their own finances to help them serve Jesus Christ and fulfill His last commandment to make disciples of all nations.

The step into full-time missions with Youth With A Mission is the Discipleship Training School (DTS), which YWAM Nashville offers twice a year. From there students can explore other avenues of training with us or other YWAM ministries worldwide to help them fulfill their roles as followers of Jesus Christ, endeavoring to see the will of their Father accomplished here on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Where We Serve

In Acts 1:8, Jesus challenged His disciples to be His witnesses “both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Our Jerusalem is Nashville and the surrounding area. We are especially focused on the increasingly diverse ethnic population.

Our Judea is the southeastern United States, where we help waves of youth fall in love with missions every year. As part of our work in the states surrounding Tennessee, we partner with our sister YWAM base in Louisville, Kentucky.

Our Samaria is Mexico and Latin America, particularly the Yucatan Peninsula, where we have our sister base in Cancun.

The uttermost part of the earth is exactly that. We support long-term missionaries in Asia, Africa, and Europe and encourage our staff and students to step into whatever callings God has given them.
