The S.O.M.D. exists to raise up a new breed of fiery young leaders who will awaken their generation to the beauty of God and His heart for His world. Preaching the Gospel to every creature and making disciples of all the nations for the glory of God is the vision of these impassioned ones! Pure, Uncompromising, Emboldened, Fire-filled Lovers of Jesus!
Do you want to discover more of who God is and get to know Him in a deeper way? Have you ever wondered “What is my part in the Great Commission?” How do you live out the Great commission wherever you go and influence others to do the same? Do you want practical tools to be an effective leader in your generation? Do you want to know how God has specifically gifted you to impact the nations? Do you want to be equipped for the next move of God across the world? Do you want to be radically effective in your ministry? In a world full of leaders what does God consider leadership and what were some of the attributes of great leaders in the Bible? These are some questions that will be explored in the S.O.M.D. During this school students will discover and develop their gifts and talents in the context of on-the-job leadership training. |

Other things that will be covered:
Weekly Intercession, Developing financial support, YWAM foundational Values/History and Vision of YWAM Nashville, Small groups, one-on-ones, book readings. Students will take turns leading at least one week of outreach and set up their outreach.
The goal is by the end of the school you will:
-Be filled with passion and zeal for the Lord and know Him in a deeper way.
-Have a heart for the lost and be able to preach the Gospel effectively.
-Be able to effectively disciple a person, small group, or small simple church.
-Have leadership skills and character to begin leading where the Lord may take you.
-Bring Awakening and Revival wherever you may go!
Objectives
Great Commission- To give students a passion for the lost of the world and practical tools to preach the gospel and make disciples.
Awaken and Revive- To fuel the fire of your heart to awaken a generation to God! We will cover revival history and personal revival of the heart. A return to obedience to the living God!
Intimacy- To grow in your love for God by living a wholly consecrated, presence- centered life.
Leadership- To develop Godly leadership character, practical leadership skills, and discover biblical leadership principles.
Discover and Develop- To find out the unique ways God has gifted you and grow in your strengths and weaknesses to make an impact on the world.
